SuperSport.com has scooped that Enugu Rangers will conclude a deal for Okey Emordi to become their head coach/technical adviser for the 2011/2012 Nigeria Premier League (NPL) season.
A club source informed that Emordi will sign a one-year contract with an option of renewal for another year.
"Yes it is true that Okey Emordi will sign for Enugu Rangers tomorrow (Wednesday) and it will be a year contract and there will be another one-year deal for him after the first season," SuperSport.com was informed.
But Emordi had told SuperSport.com earlier on Tuesday that "nothing has been concluded that is the latest as at this moment."
The former Enyimba coach had hoped to sign the deal on Tuesday but will now do so on Wednesday.
"Except everything is concluded today(Tuesday), that is, I sign the contract papers. I won't be at their training session tomorrow(Wednesday)," he said.
Emordi will be making a return to Rangers after he called it quit at Enyimba last season.
Rangers will start their campaign in the NPL next term by playing host to Warri Wolves on January 8, 2012.
