Kano Pillars striker, Victor Namo (pictured), has taken a look back at his performance against Heartland in a Week 27 and is excited that his two goals gave his team a resounding win.
"I'm happy that we won well against them. And I'm even more happy that I scored two goals in the game," Namo told SuperSport.com.
The 22-year-old scored twice in the last 20 minutes of Sunday's 3 - 0 home win for his club against Heartland after Gambo Mohammed had got the first on 52 minutes.
But the former Mighty Jets man revealed that Heartland proved a difficult opponent which saw the game ending goalless at half time inside the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
"The game was not easy as the result look. They were very tough especially in the first half. The second half too was tough but we took our chances, which is very important.
"I'm happy we won by 3 - 0 and I'm very happy that I scored two of the goals in the game. I hope to score more this season for my club," said Namo.
The former striker of Yobe Desert Stars has scored five times in this Premier League campaign for Kano Pillars.
