Champions of the Globacom Premier League in 2004, Dolphin Football Club, would make a return to the top-flight after spending two seasons in the lower division by playing host to another former champion, Ocean Boys. By our checks, Dolphin FC is the most prepared of the two teams, as Ocean Boys may have shot itself in the foot for its past treatment of its coaches. As at the time of writing this preview, Ocean Boys was yet to contract a head coach. But Dolphin FC unlike Ocean Boys has beefed up its squad with the likes of Mutiu Adegoke, Abu Ali, Abubakar Baleria, Nnamdi Chinedu and Kelechi Ogwuibuike. Based on this strength, Dolphin FC should begin on a winning note.
