WEEK 7 PREVIEW: Dolphin FC v Gombe Utd

Since its return to the Globacom Premier League this season, Dolphin Football Club is yet to put up the kind of performance that saw it pick the promotion ticket with ease. By this weekend, Dolphin FC should have back the services of Golden Eaglets’ duo, Abduljelil Ajagun and Omoh Ojabu. But the latter is doubtful for this game following the injury he sustained in the semi-final of the FIFA Under-17 World Cup against Spain at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos. Four years ago was the last time both sides met in the league and it ended by a lone goal in favour of Gombe United, which played host on that occasion. On April 2, 2005, Dolphin FC was forced to a 1-1 in this corresponding fixture, which was the last time the home side played host to Gombe United in the Premier League before its relegation a year later.
Prediction: 2-1
