Efugh Emerges As Heartland’s New Captain

Heartland Football Club this week named Chinedu Efugh as its new captain for the ongoing season of the Globacom Premier League.
Spokesman of the club, Cajetan Nkwopara, told Naijaligue.blogspot.com that the former Enugu Rangers replaced Victor Ezuruike as leader of the team and would be assisted by Uche Agba and Emmanuel Olowo.
Efugh was picked as captain of the side in its last game against Sunshine Stars in Akure.
“Chinedu Efugh has been picked as the new leader of the team and he will replace Victor Ezuruike. His deputy is Uchenna Agba while Emmanuel Olowo is also a stand-by deputy,” Nkwopara told Naijaligue.blogspot.com.
The former defender of Rangers was picked based on his leadership quality by the Heartland coaching crew.
