Lobi Stars On Stand-by For Tenger

Following the four-match ultimatum handed to Kwara United head coach, Justin Tenger, in the wake of poor results, another Premier League side, Lobi Stars, has been watching the situation with keen interest.
Before the start of the ongoing campaign, Lobi Stars has not hidden its admiration for the Benue-born handler and Naijaligue.blogspot.com understands that the management of Lobi Stars has been put on alert by the pressure mounting on the coach at the Ilorin club.
An official of Lobi Stars hinted that Tenger has been on top of the wishlist of the club since the start of the season and could pounce on the former Niger Tornadoes’ handler if Kwara United decides to end his contract in the wake of the ultimatum handed him last week.
“There has been talk about Justin Tenger here (at Lobi Stars) all throughout this season. Remember that he is from Benue State and the government here feels that he is the man that can do a better job if finally contracted to a deal. But Lobi Stars is watching what will happen at the end concerning Tenger,” the official said on the grounds of anonymity.
But the Kwara United coach is confident that he would remain in charge of the club in spite of the pressure that has followed the four-match ultimatum handed him.
Tenger still believes that he would meet the target of winning a ticket to one of CAF’s club competitions at the end of this season’s campaign.
