WEEK 14 PREVIEW: Kano Pillars v Enyimba

This is definitely the biggest match of this weekend’s fixtures for the Premier League. 

The Peoples Elephant goes into this tie in pole position of the league log irrespective of Wednesday’s result against Gateway Football Club. 

But Okey Emordi’s men have not won a game in Kano in the last four seasons in the top-flight. Enyimba’s best result in the past seasons at Kano is a 1 – 1 draw on November 24, 2007. 

Former champion, Kano Pillars has gone ahead to win the other two games in Kano by 1 – 0 and 2 – 0 on August 27, 2005 and December 17, 2008 respectively. 

This could turn out to be the Peoples Elephant’s second loss of the season.
