Players Dump Heartland Over Unpaid Wages

The Naze Millionaires is definitely a club with so much debt upon its shoulders. Naijaligue.blogspot.com understands that this is one of the major reasons, key players of the club has decided to seek for greener pasture abroad.
The 2009 CAF Champions League finalist still owes the travelling allowance to second leg of the CAF Champions League final against Tout Puissant Mazembe.
Some of the players who spoke to Naijaligue.blogspot.com expressed displeasure that the balance of their salaries since December and all match bonuses this season as well as 50 per cent of signing-on fees are yet to be paid.
Heartland Football Club pays its players N16,000 each as match bonus for a home win.
“They have paid last season’s contract fee, but for this season they still owe us 50 per cent. So at the moment, nothing has changed with Heartland since last year. I'm telling you since last season we even forget if we are playing for winning bonus or anything, as we just play to clear the shame on the club,” one of the players complained.
