Kwara Utd ground undergoes refurbishing

The Ilorin Township Stadium is currently undergoing a total renovation, Naijaligue.blogspot.com understands.
The stadium in Ilorin is one of the grounds that have been placed on the watch list by the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) ahead of the start of next season and the Kwara State government has swooped into gear by refurbishing the ground.
The repair at the stadium is concentrated on the seating space, the playing turf, plumbing and dressing rooms.
It was learnt that the state government is excited that the state will be represented by two clubs – Kwara United and Bukola Babes – when next season’s campaign gets underway.
However, it is still uncertain if the ground will be ready in time for the start of next season since it will be used by Bukola Babes and Kwara United.
Another source disclosed that the governor of the state, Dr. Bukola Saraki, is excited that his club is going to compete in the top-flight next term and wants to ensure that it enjoys the best of facilities.
