Premier League Newcomers Battle For NNL Title

The title game in the Nigeria National League (NNL) also known as the National Division I League is expected to hold on August 8 between winners of Group A and Group of the championship.
Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) Football Club finished as champion of Group A of the league which consisted of northern clubs while Group B winner is Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso.
According to the secretary of the NNL, Ayo Rahman, the match is billed to come up in Ogbomoso – home of Crown FC.
The Oyo State government, it was learnt has accepted to play host to the title playoff since Crown FC is involved.
The two clubs have been duly informed by the secretariat of the NNL ahead of Sunday’s game.
Rahman said that the NNL has put everything in place for the match adding that the trophy has been retrieved from last year's winner, Dolphin Football Club of Port Harcourt, which beat Kwara United 1 – 0.
