The duo of Charles Negedu and Darlington Ihejiene has been named in a list of seven players that have been shown the exit door by Premier League side, Enugu Rangers.
Others on the sack list are Osahon Ugeto, Oko Kenechukwu, Andrew Nwodu, Sunday Adeyemi and Terhemen Akombo.
Negedu only joined the Flying Antelopes last term after he returned from an uneventful stint in Tunisia.
The club’s media officer, Foster Chime told www.npl.com.ng that the seven players were sacked after a careful study of the performance of all the players for last season.
“All the coaches sat down to evaluate the performance of each player and they concluded that only seven players did not meet up with the standards.
“The players are Osahon Ugeto, Oko Kenechukwu, Negedu Charles, Darlington Ihejiene, Andrew Nwodu, Sunday Adeyemi and Terhemen Akombo.
“I want to say that we have capable players that will replace the dropped players and all our supporters should be rest assured that we are going to make them smile next season,” Chime said.
