Senegalese defender, Ousmane Pape Sane, has opened discussion with Nigeria Premier League side, Enugu Rangers for the coming season, Naijaligue.blogspot.com can reveal.
The defender, who played for Sharks Football Club in last season’s campaign, was in the Coal City of Enugu last month to hold talks with the management of the Flying Antelopes.
Sane and Rangers have agreed on terms and the player is said to be waiting to speak to Sharks FC before he makes his move to Enugu official or decide to remain with the Port Harcourt-based side for the coming season.
“He has talked to Rangers and they have agreed on a deal. But he has returned to Port Harcourt to talk to the Shark’s people. So we will wait to hear from him any time soon,” said an official of the Flying Antelopes.
A close friend of the Senegalese hinted Naijaligue.blogspot.com that Sane will meet officials of the Blue Angels this week and could seal a switch to Enugu Rangers on Friday or early next week barring any hitch.
