Cooreman rules out Aruwa for Crown tie

Belgian manager of Kaduna United, Maurice Cooreman, has left out playmaker Sani Aruwa from Sunday’s Week 3 Premier League game against newcomers, Crown Football Club at the Kaduna Township Stadium.
Aruwa has been plagued by a groin injury before the start of the season and had to play through pain in the opening game against last term’s runners-up, Kano Pillars, in a 1 – 1 draw on Matchday One.
After Saturday morning’s training session, Cooreman told the attacking midfielder that he has been left out of the match against Crown FC due to lack of fitness.
The development means that Aruwa will be watching from the stands when his teammates take on Crown FC.
Aruwa only returned to training with the Crocodiles last Thursday after sitting out their Week 2 tie at Kwara United last weekend.
However, Cooreman has decided to hand Emmanuel Bivan, Yusuf Siman, Femi Balogun, Richard Ochanyi and Benjamin Ishaya starting places for Sunday’s game.
Cooreman said he will send out his side to grab their first win of the season after opening draws in Week 1 and Week 2 against Kano Pillars and Kwara United respectively.
“Our aim is to go out and win against our opponents tomorrow (Sunday),” said the Belgian.
Also, striker Bola Bello is still a long way from recovery after a fatal car crash, which has meant travelling to India for further treatment.
