Wolves claim four spots in Team of Month

Premier League leaders, Warri Wolves, got the most mention in this season’s first Team of the Month released by the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) on Thursday.
Wolves produced three playing personnel and their head coach, Paul Aigbogun, was picked as coach of the month by the NPL panel.
The trio of goalkeeper Chigozie Agbim, ThankGod Ike and Emmanuel Omodiagbe are the players named in the team.
It is apparent that the NPL handed four spots to Warri Wolves based on their unbeaten start to the season as well as their leadership of the league at the moment.
However, Kano Pillars and Sunshine Stars have two players each in the playing personnel.
Former champions, Kano Pillars, provided two defenders in Alhaji Alhaji and Abdulwasiu Showemimo while Cletus Itodo and Ukeyima Akombo were picked from Sunshine Stars.
Uche Oguchi (Dolphins), ThankGod Amaefule (Sharks), Rafiu Salaudeen (Gombe United) and Fred Okwara (Enugu Rangers) complete the Team of the Month.
