NPL warns Deutsche, Pillars fans

The head of Juth, Emmanuel Deutsche and supporters of Kano Pillars have been singled out for warning by the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) following different incidents in their Week 29 game in Kano on Saturday.

Deutsche has come under the Premier League spotlight for attempting to incite fans during his team's Week 29 game against Kano Pillars, which they lost 0-1.

The Juth coach was said to have kept gesticulating to the fans over decisions made by the centre referee in a bid to make the fans react.

He has been warned by the NPL to desist from such act or face serious sanction.

Supporters of Kano Pillars, on the other hand, have been warned for encroaching on the pitch after Shagari Mohammed scored a late goal for the home team.

NPL has told Kano Pillars to warn their supporters not to encroach on the field again or risk sanctions.
