Kaduna's trip to Tunis suffer delay

One of Nigeria's representatives in the Orange Caf Confederation Cup, Kaduna United, have had their travelling plan to Tunis delayed by over 12 hours.

Kaduna United had been billed to leave Nigeria aboard an Egypt Air flight by 1am on Friday en route Cairo for their game against Tunisia's Club Africain.

SuperSport.com has been informed that the Nigerian club could not leave Abuja as planned due to logistic issues by the airline.

Assistant spokesman, Mohammed Suleman, confirmed to SuperSport.com that the Kaduna United contingent will leave the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Friday evening.

"We could travel any longer very early today (Friday) but we will leave this (Friday) evening since the game will hold on Sunday," Suleman said.

Kaduna United's game against Club Africain on matchday two of the Orange Caf Confederation Cup will hold at the Stade Olympique d'El Menzah in Tunis on Sunday.
