Egwim in line for Dolphins' move

Enugu Rangers' striker, Ifeanyi Egwim could sign for Nigeria Premier League (NPL) champions, Dolphins.

The Rangers' striker is reportedly close to joining the champions before the 2011/2012 season kicks off on January 7.

Dolphins' manager, Stanley Eguma is said to be interested in the striker, who was in red-hot form at the close of last season for the Flying Antelopes.

In spite of the interest in Egwim is yet to sign for Dolphins, SuperSport.com has learned.

But Rangers are ready to stave off the interest of Dolphins to keep Egwim after another of their striker, Brendan Ogbu joined their eternal rivals, Heartland.

Egwim joined Rangers from Nigeria National League side, Prime FC of Osogbo and scored five goals in last season's league campaign.
