ABS throw out Onuh

Nigeria Premier League (NPL) club, ABS FC have ordered their head coach, Erasmus Onuh to step aside.

SuperSport.com was informed by a spokesman of the club, Jimoh Bashir on Monday that Onuh was told to vacate his position after the team's 0-1 home loss to Enugu Rangers at the Ilorin Township Stadium on Sunday.

Bashir confirmed that Onuh's assistant, Kabir Sulaiman Dogo will take charge of the team in an interim capacity.

"Yes Erasmus Onuh has been told to step down as the team's head coach and his assistant, Kabir Sulaiman Dogo will be in charge for now," he told SuperSport.com.

Club owner, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki, who watched the game from the stands was said to be livid by the loss which left the only privately-owned side in the NPL bottom of the standings with five points.

Under Onuh, ABS have gone without a win in their last three games against Enugu Rangers, Wikki Tourists and Niger Tornadoes.
