Rising Stars' striker, Kayode 'Careca' Agboola, believes he can combine with his teammates to bring an end to ABS' impressive run in this month of March.

ABS are yet to lose in four games in March including wins at former Cup holders, Kaduna United and a 2-0 home win over league champions, Dolphins.

ABS and Rising Stars square up in a first-ever Nigeria Premier League (NPL) clash on Sunday in Week 15.

Agboola, fondly called Careca for his instinct in front of goal like the Brazilian striker who bore the name, said he is not ruling out a Rising Stars' win at ABS.

"We are capable of winning at ABS because we have a very strong team. That ABS are unbeaten this month is something good for them and for us that will be a source of motivation to play at our best against them. Remember we lost at home for the first time this season (to Sunshine Stars) and that shows that it is possible to win at ABS," Agboola told SuperSport.com ahead of Sunday's clash.

The striker added that he is gearing up to play his part in the game by scoring at the Ilorin Township Stadium.

"As a team we create a lot of scoring chances in matches and that always present me with the opportunity to score in every game we have played so far. I believe same will happen in the game against ABS and hopefully I can score one or two to help the team," Agboola assured.

The 21-year-old joined Rising Stars at the start of this season from Lagos-based football academy, Westerlo, managed by former Nigerian goalkeeper, Joseph Dosu.

He has scored three times for Rising Stars this season.
