Kaduna Utd fall short at home again

Kaduna United for the second time this season suffered another home loss in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL).

The former Federation Cup champions were beaten 1-2 by ABS FC at the Kaduna Township Stadium on Sunday.

ABS FC, who replaced their head coach, Erasmus Onuh with his assistant, Kabir Sulaiman Dogo in an interim capacity, after suffering a 0-1 home defeat in the hands of table-toppers, Enugu Rangers, last week proved too strong for Kaduna United.

Christian Ofili put ABS one goal up inside 20 minutes before Jafar Buhari scored his fourth goal of the campaign for Kaduna United from the spot amid controversial circumstance with 15 minutes to half time.

Striker Abdulrahman Bashir netted what turned out to be the winner for ABS to claim only their second win of the season.

The Saraki Boys defended their slim lead in the second 45 minutes to take their total points for this season so far to eight.

Kaduna United's first home loss this season was to Gombe United on January 29. That game ended 0-1.
