Ghanaian forward, James Amankwei (pictured), is set for a switch to Nigerian champions,
Dolphins.
Amankwei
headed for Heartland after three years at Juth, which brought him to Nigeria,
but the forward is yet to enjoy his time at the Owerri side.
After
a long period of negotiation with Juth, he eventually made his Heartland debut
in a 2-0 win over Rising Stars and was an unused substitute against Lobi Stars.
However,
the desire for more playing time has necessitated a move to the Liberation
Stadium, where Stanley Eguma remains a long time admirer of the Ghanaian.
"All
things being equal, I should be a Dolphins player when the second round of the
league begins," Amankwei told SuperSport.com.
SuperSport.com
learnt that Dolphins would capitalise on the fact that Heartland are yet to
complete payment of his transfers to relegated Juth.
Amankwei
will join two other Ghanaians, Seidu Abuu and Owusu Addae at Dolphins.
