Iorwuese Utsaha and Luther Iorhe of Lobi Stars have told SuperSport.com that they are looking forward to the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) potential title clash against Enugu Rangers.
Lobi Stars play host to table-topping Rangers in a Matchday 37 game at the Emmanuel Atongo Stadium in Katsina-Ala.
Left-back Utsaha acknowledged that he is not expecting the Flying Antelopes to sit back and get pummelled when they come calling on Wednesday.
"They're title favourites and we don't expect an easy game against them. All I can say is that we are ready to face them and we know that it won't be an easy game at all. At the same time we cannot afford to drop a single point," said Utsaha.
Iorhe, who came on as a substitute to score against league champions, Dolphins in Port Harcourt on Matchday 36, is confident of edging the Flying Antelopes.
The striker, who has played mostly in cameo roles this term owing to the exceptional form of Tony Okpotu, David Tyavkase, Jonah Abutu and Moses Bunde, is itching to have a look-in for the big day clash against the league leaders.
"Every player wants to play in the big games and as a player that's my dream. Whether I play from the start or from the bench, it doesn't matter. What matters is that we get the three points, which is important.
"Rangers are a big team and I expect a tough, very tough game from them. But we cannot afford to miss the chance of winning this game, as we are also in the race for the title," Iorhe said to SuperSport.com.
Lobi Stars are in third spot in the NPL standings and on 60 points, one behind Rangers and Kano Pillars in first and second positions respectively.
