Akwa United attacking winger, Ubong Ekpai, has played himself once again into The Predictor's XI.
This time, Ekpai won a
spot in the Matchday Eight team after putting in a big shift to help The
Promise Keepers fightback from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw against ABS on
Thursday.
Ekpai first broke into the
matchday team of The Predictor in Week 5 after he played a huge role in the 3-0
win over Bayelsa United.
Kwara United goalkeeper
Suraju Aiyeleso makes the team for the first time this season following his
superb display between the sticks against Nembe City.
The trio of Nnamso Edo,
Stephen Eze and Peter Jang form the three-man defence in the 3-5-2 style of The
Predictor's XI.
In the five-man midfield
are Baba Sule Adamu, Fortune Omoniwari, Evans Iyoro, Ekpai and Nigeria Under-20
team captain, Abduljeleel Ajagun.
Omoniwari and Ajagun were
particularly involved in almost every attacking move of their teams against
Wikki Tourists and Nasarawa United respectively.
Terkimbi Akosu and Kabiru
Sanusi complete the team with their standout performance on the day.
Kabiru Sulaiman Dogo of
ABS is named coach of the squad on this matchday after he led his team to
become the first side to end Akwa United's 100 percent run at home.
He edged Sharks trainer,
Gbenga Ogunbote.
