Dolphins
goalkeeper, Sunday Rotimi (pictured), has thrown his side's hat in the ring for this
season's Glo Premier League title.
Rotimi
made it clear that Dolphins have a "task at hand" in their ambition to
win the league this term.
The
goalkeeper admitted that the squad are ready to continue to battle on for the
Premier League title.
“The
task at hand is to win the league. We have been there before and we have done
it before so I believe by God’s grace we will do it again.
“We
also know that anything short of that may not go down well with the sponsors of
the club so the boys know they must continue to fight hard to amass points that
will take us to the top," said Dolphins substantive captain.
Rotimi
joined the Port Harcourt club in 2004 and has made 179 appearances for them in
all competitions though had a two-year break in 2005 and 2006 when he played
for Israeli club, Ironi Rishon Le Zion FC.
Rotimi
was named Dolphins captain after Emah Godwin left the club to join Akwa United
in the 2011/12 season.
