Former
Vital'O midfielder, Stiv Nzigamasobo (pictured), has entered the history books as the
first East African to play in Nigeria's Glo Premier League after sealing a deal
with six-time Nigerian champions, Enugu Rangers.
Nzigamasobo
came off the bench when Rangers played Nembe City on Matchday 22 in Enugu. Rangers
won 2 – 0 on the day.
"I'm
happy to play in Nigeria with Enugu Rangers. It's a big team with good
players," the midfielder said to supersport.com.
Rangers
gaffer, Okey Emordi, told supersport.com that Nzigamasobo was brilliant in their
two-legged encounter in the Caf Champions League.
The
Burundian becomes the third foreigner at Enugu side which already have
Senegalese central defenders, Pierre Coly and Pape Ousmane Sane.
