Warri
Wolves will face Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Kano
Pillars, at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Sunday without two key
defenders.
Centre-backs
Azubuike Egwuekwe and Monday Osagie did not travel with the Wolves contingent
for the Matchday 33 game.
Warri
Wolves head coach, Solomon Ogbeide, has opted to rest both defenders after
recent hectic schedule including the Federation Cup loss to Enyimba last
weekend.
It
is likely that the duo of Uche Ossai and Bright Akpojuvwevwo will start as
centre-halves for Wolves when they face Kano Pillars this Sunday.
Earlier
supersport.com had reported that Wolves are without striker Joseph Osadiaye for
the game against Kano Pillars.
Osadiaye
is bereaved following the death of his elder sister and Ogbeide has excused him
from the trip to Kaduna.
