Brown is top dog in The Predictor's XI

Dolphins goalkeeper, Austin Brown [pictured], surely made the headlines following his splendid performance in their Match Day 1 game at Heartland last Sunday.

Brown stood between Heartland and the full points by pulling off big saves to help Dolphins win their first-ever point in Owerri in the Premier League era.

The Dolphins custodian played his way into my team as a key performer on Match Day 1 of the Glo Premier League. His top drawer saves off Kelechi Ekeh and Emeka Ogbugh were among highlights of his outstanding display for the Pride of Rivers.

The performance of Brown ensured that he beats Sunshine Stars goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Chigozie Agbim of Gombe United to the number one position.

Brown's team-mate Hope Fiberesima also put in a decent shift to be named in defence alongside the trio of Stephen Eze, Mutiu Adegoke and Nigerian international defender, Azubuike Egwuekwe.

Bright Ejike, Ubong Ekpai and Andrew Abalogu are my top pick in midfield position while the trio of Ifeanyi Egwim, Bishop Onyeudo and Abdulmalik Mohammed complete my team in a 4-3-3 formation as strikers.

My coach of the week is Dolphins manager, Stanley Eguma.
