Osaguona Ighodaro of Enugu Rangers and Giwa FC striker, Shuaibu Ibrahim have deservedly made my team of the week for Match Day 15 of the Glo Premier League.
Both strikers netted a treble each for their clubs at the weekend and became the second and third players to score hat-tricks in the Nigerian top flight this season after Gombe United, Adamu Mohammed became the first to achieve that feat.
Ighodaro scored three goals for Rangers as they were held to a 3-3 draw by Gombe United while Shuaibu Ibrahim's hat-trick helped Giwa FC to a 4-0 win over Kaduna United.
I have also picked Enyimba striker, Mfon Udoh (pictured), and handed him a free role just behind the two strikers, Ighodaro and Ibrahim.
Udoh was a handful in Enyimba's 3-0 win over Nembe City as he scored twice and assisted the other goal scored by Abdulrahman Bashir.
Dele Ajiboye of Nasarawa United is my goalkeeper of the week in spite of his club's 0-1 loss at Sunshine Stars. The former Golden Eaglets goalkeeper did enough to make sure Nasarawa United didn't concede more than once with quite a few big saves.
In my defence, Uche John, Tamarakuro Debekeme and Yinka Adedeji make the cut for their outstanding performance for their teams.
Top marks for Sharks defender, Adedeji, as he effectively warded off Warri Wolves' attacks through his left-back position and even cleared off the line late in the game to help the Blue Angels stay top of the league and extend their unbeaten run to nine matches.
As for Uche John and Debekeme, they neutralised aerial attempts by the opponents of their teams to get goals.
Christian Madu, Yaro Bature, Frederick Obomate and Muyiwa Lawal complete my team of the week as midfielders in a 3-4-1-2 formation.
For the first time this season, Maurice Cooreman is my coach of the week. How he rallied Gombe United from a 1-3 scoreline to 3-3 at Rangers remains a feat considering the fact that they had gone two years without winning a point on the road.
