Defender Chinedu Efugh popularly known as Chicago will take no part in the Super Naija Sunday clash in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL).
Efugh's team, Heartland play hosts to Enyimba on Matchday 13 of the NPL at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Sunday.
The centre-back is nursing a knee injury, which he coincidentally cupped at the same venue for Sunday's game when Heartland faced Enugu Rangers last month.
Chicago trained for the first time on Wednesday since his injury on February 19.
Efugh told SuperSport.com: "I won't be playing on Sunday (against Heartland). I'm not fully recovered yet but I started training on Wednesday with the team. It's painful to miss such a big game so early in the season but I trust my teammates to get the result against one of our biggest rivals."
The former Enugu Rangers' man has missed the Naze Millionaires' last three matches against Kwara United, Gombe United and Kano Pillars.
Enyimba officials and fans will be relieved to see their team face Heartland without Efugh who has had the reputation of scoring crucial goals against the Peoples Elephant.
Last season, Efugh's goal against Enyimba at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos secured the Cup for the Naze Millionaires to end a 18-year-old trophy drought at the Owerri-based club.
In 2008/2009 season, it was the solitary strike of Chicago that crowned Heartland winners of the Super Four.
