After his contract was not renewed at Heartland Football Club when it expired on July 27, Bulgarian attacking midfielder, Petar Stanev, could be heading to Makurdi. It has been uncovered that Lobi Stars’ new head coach, Mitko Dobrev, who brought the player to Nigeria, is trying to lure him over to Benue State.
Stanev has reportedly returned to his country after he failed to tie an extension to his one-year deal with Heartland FC.
