Gombe Utd Players Still Waiting For Transfer Fees

Players of the club are still waiting for the management of the side to pay them the outstanding balance of last season’s signing-on fees, which Naijaligue.blogspot.com understands remains about 70 per cent.
Coordinator of the club and Special Assistant to the Gombe State governor, Mallam Farouk Yarma, told Naijaligue.blogspot.com at the weekend that the players’ outstanding fees would be settled in a month.
“I can assure that the Gombe State governor is interested in the activities of the club and I also believe that the performance of the club would ensure that the outstanding sign-on fees are paid. One other thing that you must take note is that the governor was out of the country on several trips and that may have caused it too. But I believe that in a month’s time that the money will be paid to the players,” he assured.
