Tenger Ecstatic Over Kwara Utd’s Away Form

Kwara United head coach, Justin Tenger, is in euphoric mood over his side’s improved away form in this season’s campaign of the Globacom Premier League after last weekend’s win 2-1 at Kaduna United.
Tenger described the win on the road in an interview with Naijaligue.blogspot.com as a hard-fought victory after waiting until the 89th minute when Kabir Sanusi grabbed the winner from close range.
The former Niger Tornadoes’ man, however, praised his side for its doggedness in spite of the fight it faced from its host, Kaduna United.
The coach of the Ilorin-based club is confident that the weekend’s result against Kaduna United would help his side’s confidence in this season’s campaign.
“It wasn’t as easy game for us because Kaduna United showed that they were ready to play us in every department of the game. We were really stretched till the very end of the game and it was good that we got that vital goal at the very end of the game to pick another three points in another away game. This is good for us as a team and I believe that this performance will boost the team’s confidence for the challenge in this season’s league,” Tenger said.
Now, Tenger is looking forward to the visit of Lobi Stars after his side’s back-to-back away wins over Wikki Tourist and Kaduna United.
The Benue State-born coach knows that Lobi Stars would present his side with a different opposition when both sides clash at the Ilorin Township Stadium on Saturday.
“Now that we hold a good position on the table we don’t want to be carried away by what we have achieved in our last three games, which we have won. It is now that we need to remain focus because the season is still a long way from the end and there are some difficult match ahead starting with Lobi Stars, who we will face (this weekend) next,” he told Naijaligue.blogspot.com.
