BREAKING NEWS: 3SC Sacks Boamah

Premier League club, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), on Monday decided to send its head coach, Phillip Boamah, packing after just four months in charge of the side.
Earlier on Monday afternoon, Naijaligue.blogspot.com had reported in a feature that Boamah was one of 13 coaches under pressure after it was tipped off about the job insecurity hovering over the Ghanaian’s job at Shooting Stars.
And by 8.00 pm Nigerian time, Naijaligue.blogspot.com confirmed that Boamah had been relieved of his appointment as head coach of the Ibadan club, which is now placed 19th on the Premier League log.
Spokesman of the club, Jubril Arowolo, also confirmed that the club had decided to sack Boamah and he explained that it was done due to the team’s poor performance.
“The management of Shooting Stars has relieved coach Phillip Boamah of his job due to poor performance,” Arowolo informed.
Boamah’s sacking takes effect immediately, Naijaligue.blogspot.com understands.
Until his sack on Monday night, Boamah had led the Oluyole Warriors to just two wins, four draws and five losses in 11 games.
The troubled coach was hired in August this year to replace Franklin Howard, who guided the side to promotion.
