Shooting Stars Signs Two Strikers

Premier League side, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), has completed the signing of two strikers in the transfer window, expected to close on Friday.
General Manager and Technical Director of the Ibadan-based club told Naijaligue.blogspot.com during the week that the players’ registration has been completed with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and ratified by the Nigeria Premier League (NPL).
The players that have joined the Oluyole Warriors are David Abidoye and Uchenna Nwafor from Lobi Stars and Anambra Pillars respectively, according to Adepoju.
“We have been cleared to unveil two new players that we signed during the week. The players are David Abidoye and Uchenna Nwafor. We are happy that the deal sailed through because they will bring quality to our attack in the course of the season.
“Remember we have had problems winning games even when we have been the better side in terms of possession. Now we have the players we want and I believe we will start getting results from now,” Adepoju told Naijaligue.blogspot.com.
Shooting Stars now has full ownership of the players, who were both signed a year deal each.
But the Ibadan club was still trying to push through two bids for two other players before registration closed on Friday in the transfer window.
