Jos Agog For Plateau Utd, JUTH Clash

The first of the six expected local derby in the National Division I League in the city of Jos would take place at Rwang Pam Stadium this Saturday when Plateau United plays host to National Division IA League leader, Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) Football Club.
The match is expected to be explosive as JUTH FC wants to consolidate its position and Plateau United which is currently sixth on the table will want to secure the three points to move up.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Plateau United defence ace, Kabiru Ayinde, believes his team will stop JUTH FC.
He said: “It is not going to be easy, we know they are good but we will be better when we play them Saturday, we are going for all the three points.”
On his part, JUTH FC captain, Babawo Mohammed, said it is going to be a war on the field from the start to finish and hopes his team gets the three points at stake in the game.
“It will be a tough game no doubt, everywhere in the world, derby is always tough, but we will do our best to get the maximum three points in the game, we are playing away at home,” said Mohammed.
