WEEK 12 PREVIEW: 3SC v Zamfara Utd

This is the first time both clubs would be meeting in the top-flight in four years. 

The last game between Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) and Zamfara United was on November 2, 2005 when the latter won in Gusau by 2 – 0. 

But Shooting Stars won this same fixture by 2 – 1 in Ibadan. This time, the club’s General Manager, Mutiu Adepoju, would take charge in his first game as coach after sacking Phillip Boamah, just three days after Christmas Day. 

Adepoju would be keen to start his tenure as acting coach on a winning note.
