Wolves Slams N50,000 Fine On Vanzekin

Premier League side, Warri Wolves, has ordered one of its goalkeepers, Ambrose Vanzekin, to pay the fine of N50,000 after lifting his suspension indefinitely.
Media Manager of the club, Timi Ebikagboro, stated to Naijaligue.blogspot.com that the club’s head coach, Lawrence Akpokona, decided to end the suspension of the player after he wrote officially to apologise for his unprofessional conduct.
“According to the technical adviser of the team, Lawrence Akpokona, the suspension was lifted after the ex-junior international goalkeeper showed remorse and wrote a letter of apology stating that he will not indulge in such acts again and that if he does he should be slammed with a bigger punishment,” the club’s publicist said in a statement.
Akpokona was said to have decided to lift the suspension on the former Akwa United goalkeeper in order to foster team unity but warned that no player should consider himself bigger than the team.
