Chibambo, Eyimofe In Abuja To See Specialist

The injury worries of Heartland Football Club duo, Signswonder Chibambo and Joseph Eyimofe, have meant that they travelled to see a specialist in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja this week.

An official of the club opened up to Naijaligue.blogspot.com that after receiving treatment for their torn tendons at an undisclosed hospital in Owerri, the players’ condition did not improve and the club opted to move them to Abuja to see a specialist.

Last week, the club’s team manager, Emeka Iwuagwu, had denied any knowledge of plans to move the players to Abuja for treatment in a telephone interview with Naijaligue.blogspot.com.

But it has been learnt that Chibambo and Eyimofe are currently in Abuja for treatment, as one of the players confirmed their whereabouts.
