Flying Antelopes’ Fans Incur Year-long Bans

Two die-hard fans of Enugu Rangers have been barred from nearing any venue of Premier League matches for a year by the Disciplinary Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The fans have been identified as Obiora Onyeama and Ikechukwu Oha, alias Honda.
This was made known in a statement to Naijaligue.blogspot.com by the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) media office.
The duo’s ban took effect from March 11 and would elapse on March 11, 2011.
The NFF disciplinary body has warned the Enugu FA and Rangers to ensure that the two identified fans are not allowed to gain access into Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu during the period of their ban or face the wrath of the body.
Also, the Flying Antelopes has been mandated to pay the sum of N1 million and another N600,000 compensation fine to assaulted referees, Emmanuel Yua from Kano State, Garba Hamza from Kano State and Emmanuel Udoh from Akwa Ibom State during the melee in the game against Sunshine Stars in Enugu.
