Court Summons CAC Over Premier League

The Abuja Federal High Court has ordered counsel to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and three other defendants in the case brought by Dr. Sam Sam Jaja to serve the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) a summon.
After the court proceeding on Monday, Justice D.U. Okorowo, adjourned further hearing on the case to April 26, Naijaligue.blogspot.com was informed.
This means that election into the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) remains stalled after Jaja queried the legality of the action by the Nigeria Football League Limited to change its name to NPL  without due authorisation by the CAC.
After listening to counsels of the complainant and defendant, Justice Okorowo in his ruling ordered that the plaintiff is served with all processes at least 48 hours to the next adjourned dated so as not to unduly delay the matter.
