Abidoye Credits Mates For Goals Against Bees

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) forward, David Abidoye, has heaped praise on his team-mates for ensuring that he was the hero of their trip to Minna last Sunday in a Week 37 game against Ranch Bees.
Abidoye netted twice in that game to make sure that the Oluyole Warriors remains in the top-flight for another season, and the player said he has his team-mates to thank for that performance.
Shooting Stars won by two-nil to grab its second away win of this season’s campaign, and Abidoye told his club’s official website that “it is my pleasure scoring the goals, but all credit goes to my teammates who provided the support.”
The former Heartland Football Club man also said the team worked hard for the victory in Minna since it was aware of the implication of failing to pick the maximum points.
“We all worked hard for the result because we knew the implication of either drawing or losing, so we went all out and ensured we got all the points at stake,” he told Shooting Stars’ official website during the week.
Shooting Stars plays it last game of the season against Gombe United at the Lekan Salami Stadium next Wednesday in an inconsequential game with just pride to battle for.
