Kano Pillars’ Hitman Sets New Goals’ Record

Attacking winger of Kano Pillars, Ahmed Musa, has finally ended a 20-year-old goal-scoring record in the Premier League after netting his 18th goal of the season, Naijaligue.blogspot.com can report.
Musa, who has suffered aggravated injuries to his ankle twice in the past two month, scored his side’s goal against Lobi Stars inside the opening 10 minutes of a replay match.
The game ended 1 – 1 but the teenage striker is now a cult hero.
The former Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) Football Club player could not muster himself to talk to Naijaligue.blogspot.com, as he simply said: “I am really excited with this but I want to win the league too.”
