Sunshine’s Adedeji Returns November From Loan

Defender of Sunshine Stars, Adeyinka Adedeji, currently on loan to Armenian club, FC Pyunik Yerevan, is expected to return to Akure in November.

The 25-year-old, who was handed the number 23 shirt, is on a five-month loan deal with the 12-time Armenian champion.

Adedeji revealed from Armenia that he joined the side to help it with its campaign in the UEFA Champions League.

“I signed on loan for them to play in the Champions League and help the side after my season with Sunshine Stars,” he told Naijaligue.blogspot.com.

But that dream of guiding the side into the next round of the UEFA Champions League playoff hit the rocks on Wednesday when FC Pyunik Yerevan was bundled out on a 1 – 4 aggregate by Partizan Belgrade of Serbia.
