Fans tip Enyimba to win Super Four

Nigeria Premier League fans have stuck to two-time African champion, Enyimba, to emerge winner of this year’s edition of the Super Four holding at the Gateway International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode.
Enyimba is in pole position ahead of today’s final games scheduled to kick off from 2pm Nigerian time having won all of its games at the competition, which ends today.
Online voters on Naijaligue.blogspot.com decided to pick the Peoples Elephant ahead of the three other clubs – Kano Pillars, Kwara United and Sunshine Stars – competing in the pre-season tournament.
Out of 100 per cent of the voters, 51 per cent picked the Aba Peoples to win the tournament in Ijebu-Ode while 34 per cent stood for last season’s runner-up, Kano Pillars.
However, the remainder of the votes was shared between Sunshine Stars and Kwara United, which got nine and two per cent respectively.
Enyimba needs a draw to win the Super Four while Sunshine Stars will hope to beat Kwara United by at least two-nil in today’s opening game and hope for favours from Kano Pillars to emerge winner of the first trophy of the season.
