Blue Angels tighten grip on unsettled duo

Nigeria Premier League (NPL) side, Sharks Football Club, have shut the door of attempts by the duo of Senegalese defender, Ousmane Pape Sane and Kola Anubi to leave the club.
SuperSport.com understands that Sane is highly regarded by Enugu Rangers and he has already spoken with officials of the Flying Antelopes but the Blue Angels are stalling on allowing him make the switch from the Port Harcourt club to the Enugu team.
The 26-year-old centre-back is said to be unsettled and wants to leave the club but the Blue Angels have refused and want to keep him for the coming season.
In the case of Anubi, who is known as ‘Babyface’ for his boyish looks, Kwara United came calling and Sharks FC have decided to keep him as well.
Coincidentally, Kadiri Ikhana, a former Sharks FC head coach is the man that has identified Anubi, 23, as the man that can steady the tide in Kwara United’s midfield when the NPL season kicks next Saturday.
SuperSport.com also understands that the club will even go to the length of refusing the players their clearance to join teams of their choices.
Anubi and Sane are out of contract at the Blue Angels.
