‘Yaro Yaro’ keeps Kaduna Utd waiting

Ageless Kano Pillars’ attacking midfielder, Ahmed Garba popularly known as ‘Yaro Yaro,’ has kept Kaduna United guessing on whether he will accept a one-year deal before the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) 2010/2011 season kicks off on October 2.
Assistant technical adviser of the team, Dahiru Sadi, told SuperSport.com from the team’s base in Kaduna that Garba trained just twice with the team and has since not returned.
But he said Kaduna United are still expecting him to turn up before the new season gets underway in six days.
“Yaro Yaro has trained with us twice since we showed interest in him. The last time he trained with the team was last Tuesday. But he left after then saying that he wants to return to Kano to attend to personal issues. So we believe that he will return to join us again before the season starts because we are waiting for him,” Sadi said.
He also disclosed that head coach, Maurice Cooreman, who is also technical adviser, will pick his final squad for the NPL campaign by Wednesday and hand it to the club.
