Chinwo to complete Kwara Utd move next week

Out-of-favour Heartland Football Club defender, Kennedy Chinwo, could earn a switch to rivals, Kwara United, before the start of the 2010/2011 Nigeria Premier League (NPL), SuperSport.com has been informed.
Chinwo disclosed to SuperSport.com on Friday morning from Owerri, base of Heartland Football Club, that he will be heading to Ilorin to team up with Kwara United for the new campaign.
The former Under-20 player was apparently miffed at being released by the Naze Millionaires alongside 21 other players after a dismal performance in the ongoing CAF Champions League.
“I have to move on because this is what happens in football though I am not happy about it. I will be joining Kwara United next week,” he hinted.
But Chinwo went further to promise Heartland a confrontation when they face Kwara United in the Premier League when the new campaign finally gets underway.
“I will bounce back to reckoning. And I will be looking forward to the game against Heartland in the new season too, because it will be an opportunity to show them that I am still a good player,” he said.
The former Dolphin Football Club right-back’s CAF Champions League appearance came to a halt when he suffered a thigh injury ahead of a Champions League Group B match against Ismaily of Egypt in Owerri last month.
