Crown Football Club goalkeeper, Ayobami Ojo, is hoping his side can shrugged off their miserable streak of five losses on the bounce and return to winning ways.
Ojo said the Ajilete Valiants' poor run in the topflight is worrisome to him after they appeared to have started the campaign strongly.
"It worries that we have not won a single game in more than a month. It is even bad that we have lost every game in the past one month.
"Now we need to start winning games so that we can escape relegation. The last one month has been difficult for the team and last week after losing to Bukola Babes at home added to it. So we need to brace up now," said the Crown keeper.
Ojo acknowledged that the game against Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) at the MKO Abiola on Sunday will be another test to Crown's resolve to remain in the Premier League.
"It is going to be a difficult match but we don't have a choice now than to put up a very good performance and get something from the match (against 3SC)," said Ojo.
The last time the Premier League newcomers won a game was on December 19, 2010 in a one-nil victory over Jos University Teaching Hospital (Juth) Football Club through Gabriel Agu’s goal.
Also, the Ajilete Valiants have not taken any point from their last five games and are 18th on the log with 10 points from 12 games.
It is also worse for Crown, as they have not scored in their last five games.
