SuperSport lights up Kano for NPL


The ancient town of Kano will be the focus of your World of Champions, as it continues live coverage of this season’s Nigeria Premier League (NPL) with two topflight Week 12 games.
On Saturday, Kano Pillars and Sharks will go head-to-head at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano live on SuperSport Nine from 3.45pm.
The clash between Kano Pillars and Sharks is one of the key games this weekend in Nigeria.
Kano Pillars stars such as Abdulwasiu Showemimo, Joseph Thompson, Gambo Muhammed, Rabiu Ali, Isa Sharif and Moses Ogaga are up for the test from Victor Ezeji, Bright Ejike, Ousmane Pape Sane, Odinga Odinga, Kola Anubi and ThankGod Amaefule on SuperSport.
Showemimo told your World of Champions that he is excited with the prospect of facing the Blue Angels in front of millions of viewers.
“We (Kano Pillars) will be charged for this game and especially with the fact that millions of people will watch this game on television. It will be good for us to show people what are capable of doing,” the Nigerian defender said.
On Sunday, Zamfara United will play host to Crown Football Club in Kano live on SuperSport Nine from 3.45pm.
Lucas Wayo, Obasesam Enite and Austin Kadiri will lead the assault of Zamfara on Crown on your World of Champions.
Enyimba are the champions in Nigeria while SuperSport is the official broadcaster of the Premier League in Nigeria.
