Kwara Utd declare Osagie Awol

Nigeria Premier League (NPL) side, Kwara United, have disclosed that they do not know the whereabouts of defender Monday Osagie is unknown.
Osagie was one of six players suspended indefinitely by the management of Kwara United this season following what the side termed anti-club activities.
Team secretary of Kwara United, Ademola Kiyesola, told SuperSport.com that Osagie has not been seen since the management of the Premier League club lifted the suspension on him and five others.
"As a matter of fact the club management has lifted the suspension on six players but one of them is yet to report to the team's camp. After several days since the suspension was lifted we do not know the whereabouts of Monday Osagie. He has not turned up in camp neither has he called to explain why he is absent from the team," said Kiyesola.
The Kwara United scribe also told SuperSport.com that the club would add six new players to the team's current playing personnel ahead of the second that kicks off on March 26.
Kiyesola further disclosed that 12 players will be placed on the transfer market by the club.
But the Kwara United official said the names of the players to be recruited or offloaded are not known until head coach, Kadiri Ikhana, makes their names available.
"The coach and his assistants have told the club management that they want to bring in six players to strengthen the club. Also 12 players will be placed on transfer according to the technical crew. But we are still waiting for the names of the players from the coaching crew. Until then there are no names to mention," he said.
Kwara United finished the first half of the season in fifth place with 32 points on the log - 11 points off the summit.
